to the best food in town: Downtown

Books and Books Cafe, at The Adrienne Arsht Center

By Christian Aporta

The new addition to Books and Books in Downtown Miami, at The Adrienne Arsht Center, offers the menu of Chef Allen Susser, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. The much needed quality coffee shop around 13th street in Downtown saves us 20 blocks to the closest Starbucks and the quality...mmm.... you tell us, it's 100% Metropolis coffee.
Alongside you have a beautiful outdoor seating for a nice relaxing afternoon. You can sip great cocktails (yes full bar here), enjoy appetizers (photos below) like the Grilled Shrimp Avocado, with watercress, pesto and saffron aioli; the Prosciutto Fresh Mozzarella, with green olive tapenade and roasted pepper or try the amazing Hummus accompanied with Zak's Bread.

Another favorite of us is the Sears Burger, Tillamore Cheddar, ugly tomatoes and a secret sauce.
